Businesses with an Authorize.Net account can access the Authorize.Net Virtual Terminal using any standard web browser. You can then authorize, process, and manage credit card transactions using the Authorize.Net Virtual Terminal.
The merchant simply submits an encrypted electronic form that provides the Authorize.Net system with the information it needs to authorize credit card transactions. The process takes approximately five seconds. Transactions are settled each day automatically, and funding comes within 1-2 days.
